About DomiCorp

Who we are.

DomiCorp is a diversified global holding company with a single purpose: a better life. We pursue it with discipline, patience, and an appetite that has never once been satisfied.

Purpose

A better life.

Three words. No qualifiers. No footnotes. The footnotes are in the Annual Report.

Mission

To own the systems that a better life depends on.

Energy, food, capital, information and security. When you rely on one of them, you rely on us.

Vision

A world in which the question of who provides the better life has been settled.

We expect to reach this vision ahead of schedule.

Our values

The DomiCorp Way.

Our values guide every decision, from the boardroom to the seabed. They are printed on the wall of every DomiCorp facility, in a font approved by the Chairman.

Integrity

We say what we do. We do not always say everything we do. That is called discretion, and it is a value too.

Ownership

We take ownership. Of outcomes, of assets, of licences, of coastlines, and of the narrative.

Independence

We are independent of governments, regulators, activists, auditors and, when possible, gravity.

Patience

We wait. We watch. We move only when the moment is right and the door has been left slightly open.

The original counting house, as remembered by the Group.
Our history

Six centuries of a better life.

DomiCorp was founded in Bruges in 1426 and moved to Antwerp a century later. Since then the Group has been present at nearly every significant moment in the development of the modern world economy, and at several of the insignificant ones.

From the spice trade to the Arctic shelf, from the Company of the Indies to Domi Data, our history is a record of adaptation, patience and the timely relocation of assets. Where that record is complicated, we have contextualised it.

Leadership

Executive Committee.

DomiCorp is led by an Executive Committee of seasoned professionals with a combined two hundred years of front-of-house experience, each of whom reports directly to the Chairman, and each of whom has learned not to ask when he will be in.

D. Dominique

Chairman

The Office of the Chairman has been held by a D. Dominique without interruption since 1426. Mr. Dominique is its ninth holder and has served since the Group's redomiciliation to George Town in 1995. He holds no formal qualifications and has never required any. He maintains residences in several jurisdictions, none of which he will confirm, and begins his working day at 04:30. He does not attend meetings; meetings attend him. His interests include long-term value creation, the open ocean, and sitting in patches of light.

Margaret Voss-Holloway

Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Voss-Holloway joined DomiCorp in 2011 and became CEO in 2019. She previously ran the Tabac du Commerce in Roubaix for twenty-eight years, then served as a partner at a global consultancy, where she advised DomiCorp on the acquisition of the consultancy. She is responsible for executing the Chairman's vision and for explaining it, afterwards, to the Board.

Renata Kapoor-Lindqvist

Chief Financial Officer

Based in George Town, Ms. Kapoor-Lindqvist oversees Group finance, treasury, tax and the 1,340-entity legal structure that she describes as "elegant." She has held senior finance positions across banking, insurance and shipping, and is a fellow of three professional bodies in two jurisdictions that no longer exchange information.

Beatrix Ohlsson

General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

Ms. Ohlsson leads Legal, Compliance, Government Affairs and Litigation Management. Under her leadership DomiCorp has recorded zero material findings in eleven consecutive years, a result she attributes to rigorous process and to her own definition of "material."

Dr. Hélène Salazar

Chief Sustainability Officer

Appointed in 2024, Dr. Salazar leads the A Better Life Framework and the Group's ESG reporting. She holds a doctorate in atmospheric chemistry and reports to the Chairman, who has assured her that the role is important. She is based on the fourth floor, near the exit.

Thérèse Achterberg

Chief Human Capital Officer

Ms. Achterberg is responsible for the 412,000 colleagues who deliver a better life every day. Her priorities include talent, culture, retention and the Group's global wellbeing programme, which was launched in 2022 and will be funded shortly.
